The Group Hic Et Nunc Has Been Active Since 1990 And Is One Of The Architects Of The Rock`n` Roll Revival Which Stroke Slovenia In The Beginning Of The Nineties. The Band Was Formed In Vrhnika By Andrej Fir Guitar Tomi Popit Bass Bernard Kogovšek Guitar Mario Mlakar Drums And Klemen Frank Vocal . Even Before It Made A Name For Itself At The Slovene Music Scene The Vocalist Was Replaced By Sašo Solarovic A Former Member Of The Well-Known Groups Berlinski Zid And Ghost Riders. It Was In This Formation That The Band Performed At The Novi Rock '92 Among The Cream Of Young Yugoslavian Music Groups Of That Time. Aleksandra Kralj Briefly Joined The Group As A Vocalist. In 1995 Their First Album Hic Et Nunc Was Released And Was Selected By Radio Študent The Record Of The Year In The Face Of Strong Competition. Many Gigs Followed The Band Played In Clubs And Performed At Important Festivals In Italy Greek The Netherlands And In Sarajevo. The Record Received Excellent Review In The American Music Magazine Flipside. In December 1996 Hic Et Nunc Recorded Their Second Album Entitled Lava In Zagreb. Just Before The Album Was Released The Group Was Joined By A New Drummer - Boris Kerimov. After An Extensive Promotion Sašo Solarovic Left The Band. The Group Established Itself As A Trio In The Following Years. Their Third Record Howling Monkeys' Blues Was Released In April 1998 And Received Excellent Reviews From The Important American Music Magazines Gearhead And Flipside. In September 1998 The Band Toured USA Together With Dicky B. Hardy Under The Auspices Of FV MUSIC Label. They Performed At 26 Gigs In 17 States. At The Concert In St. Louis They Were Spotted By The Legendary Beatle Bob Who Listed Their Performance As The Third Best Among Over 500 Gigs That He Had Visited That Year! In Autumn 1999 The Group Was Joined By Vocalist And Harmonica Player Bruno Subiotto Known As The Singer Of The First Formation Of The Group The Spoons Which Marked The Yugoslavian Music Scene In The Late Eighties And The Beginning Of The Nineties. Bruno Subiotto’s Vocal Was Alsoshaped In The Groups Borghesia Rebecca And Matchless Gift. Their Fourth Record Was Released In December 2002. Entitled Manitu It Was Received Extremely Well By The Media. Following And Invitation By The Director Tomaž Štrucel The Group Performed At The Main Ceremony To Mark The National Day On The Eve Of 25th June. Videos For The Songs Death In The Desert And You Drive Me Mad Directed By Tomo Brejc Reached Top Places In Video Charts And Retained Their Positions For A Long Time. The Visual Image Of The Manitu Project Photography And Video By Tomo Brejc Featured As A Part Of The Exhibition Sodobne Slovenske Graficne Izkušnje Contemporary Slovene Graphic Experience In The A A Gallery In Venice. In March 2004 The Band Undertook A Highly Successful Tour Of Serbia And Montenegro. Luka Krže Replaced The Drummer Boris Kerimov. The Band Recorded Live Concert In The Big Studio Of The Slovene National Television. In November 2004 New Tracks For The Fifth LP Record Entitled Burn Fat Old Sun Were Recorded. Chris Eckman Leader Of The Famous American Group The Walkabouts And The Legendary Texan Terry Lee Hale Were Guest Musicians On Tracks. Chris Eckerman Also Acted As The Producers Of The Album. In November 2004 New Tracks For The Fifth LP Record Entitled Burn Fat Old Sun Were Recorded. Chris Eckman Leader Of The Famous American Group The Walkabouts And The Legendary Texan Terry Lee Hale Were Guest Musicians On Tracks. Chris Eckerman Also Acted As The Producers Of The Album. Their Latest Record Burn Fat Old Sun Released By Nika Records Is The Fruit Of Long-Lasting Concert Experience And Dedication To Music. It Undoubtedly Presents The Peak Of Band’s Creativity. Throughout The Fifteen Years Of Their Music Activity The Group Remained Faithful To Their Vision And Become Known For Their Unique Sound-Space That Is Based On The Garage Sound Of The Sixties And The Blues.
