Blake Goss Grew Up As The Typical Class Clown As A Student In School. He Never Had Any Formal Instrumental Or Vocal Training Because His Time Was Spent Playing On A Variety Of High School Sports’ Teams. He Became Interested In Music During His Senior Year Of High School And Taught Himself How To Play Guitar. As A Senior In The Isolation Of His Room He Would Play Guitar And Sing Praise Songs As Part Of His Daily Time With God. In College He Started His Own Christian Rock Band With The Intention Of Taking It “big Time”. After Playing And Being Well Received At Many Venues Throughout His College Years God Showed Blake That His Focus Had Drifted From Worship To Success And Popularity. Blake Then Stepped Back And Realized That God Was Calling Him Back To The Original Reason He Got Into Music Which Was To Worship Him And Him Alone. Five Years Ago Blake Had The Opportunity To Become The Worship Pastor For A New Church That Launched In The Atlanta GA Area. Since That Time He Has Been Leading Worship And Writing Songs Birthed From Scripture About What God Was Teaching Him In His Personal Life As Well As In The Life Of The Church. Blake Now Feels God Calling Him To Take These Songs Which Have Been A Blessing To So Many In His Own Church And Put Them Into The Hands Of Churches Across The Nation. read less
