Biodub Is A German Musician Producer And DJ. He Founded His First Band At The Early Age Of Thirteen. Since That Time He Has Regularly Performed On Stage. Originally A Drummer He Also Learned To Play Guitar And Keyboards Over The Years. Presently He Is Drummer In The Instrumentalband “Noetics” State Of The Art Records Who Already Played With Bands Like “The Original Funky Drummers” Of James Brown The Most Sampled Drummers In The World The Pioneers In Electronic Music “Tangerine Dream” The Hippie Legends “Ten Years After” Or The 90s Downbeat And Dub Highlight “Sofa Surfers”. Since 2000 He Is Activ As DJ. He Was Spinning Records Together With DJs Like Sven Väth Ken Ishi And Kit Clayton. Under The Alias “path” He Is Resident-DJ At Numerous Clubs In His Hometown Hannover Where He Supported Acts Like LTJ Bukem Eddie Piller Founder Of The Acid Jazz Label With Giles Peterson Rainer Trüby And Oliver Korthals Founder Of The Legendary Mojo Club . Along With DJ-Ing Came His Desire For Producing Electronic Music. The Result Is A Deep And Dubby Sound That Is Equally Comfortable On The Dancefloor As In The Living Room. In His Tracks Biodub Tries To Transform Visual Impressions Into Music. He Finds Most Of These Impressions In Nature But Sometimes Also In Machines Or Buildings In Connection With Their Environment. Based On A Minimalistic Foundation His Tracks Are Playful In A Microscopical Way. In Between Deep Basslines And Characteristic Dub Chords Various Sounds Coming From Field Recording Sessions And Sometimes Also Acustic Instruments Come Up Making His Music Extremely Warm And Alive. During The Last Years He Released Music On Labels Like Ki Records Samuvar Ltd. KanuKanu Pronounce And Ornitophter To Name Just A Few.
