However By Permanent Point The Songwriting Had Become Somewhat Developed Given The Zimmermans' Increasing Study Of Engineering Techniques And Music Theory Plus The Sheer Volume Of Practice Eight Albums Give You. And As Goofy Experimentation Became Concerted Efforts It Was Clear That The Brothers Each Wanted To Take The Music In A Different Direction. Zimmerman Liked The Name And After Discovering That No Other Bands Had This Alias Decided To Stick With It. At This Time Big Black Nothing Is Very Nearly Finished With Its First Album "Afraid Of Sleep". The Name Of The Album And The Title Track Is A Reference To A Six-Month Period During The Composition Of The Album During Which Zimmerman Grappled With Chronic Insomnia. Musically The Record Is A Mish-Mash Of Industrial Rock Coldwave Nu-Metal Rapcore And The Occasional Sprinkle Of Folk/Americana And Classical. read less
