Alace Is An Experimental Alternative Metal Band From Kazan Russia. Founded In Early 1999 By Two College Friends Alace Started Up As A Postrock Band Gradually Moving To More And More Heavier Sound Under The Influence Of Bands Like Tool Deftones And Rage Against The Machine. In 2001 After Some Time Spent Searching For Their Sound The Band Stepped Out With A Solid Lineup And New Musical Style. Recorded Two Demo Albums Sold At The Band's Live Shows Alace Quickly Established The Reputation Of The Most Extraordinary Alternative Metal Local Band. In November 2002 They Have Settled In The IAmLoco Studio To Start Recording Their First Full-Length Which Was Finished By April 2003 And Was Self-Released Through Their Own D.I.Y. Label On July 15th. The 10-Track Effort Entitled "Product" Was Printed As Limited Edition And Sold Out Through Band's Official Site. The Second Print Contained Slightly Different Mix Artwork And Multimedia Part. Got Excellent Reviews In Local Press And Webzines Their Debut Made People Talk About The Band. Two Years After Alace Planned To Include Some Of The Old Unreleased Re-Recorded Tracks And Some New Stuff In The EP "Ivories". The Release Was Scheduled To 2007 However Almost One And A Half Years Spent On Mixing And Bureaucracy Issues Made "Ivories" Lost Its Zeitgeist So The Band Decided To Call Off The Release And Started Working On Their Second Full-Length Album. The Album "Nex Superne" Was Recorded At The Home Studio In Kazan And At The Versus Studio Owned By Their Friends From .Crrust In Moscow. The Mixing Process Was A 'difficult Birth' And The Band Had To Push Back The Date Few Times However Releasing Two Web Singles In 2011. Finally The Record Was Finished And Set Free On May 12th 2012. In "Nex Superne" The Band Moved Away From Their Early Raw Nu Metal Sound And Emerged Into Darker Heavier And More Experimental Complex Music Mixture.
