“Hunting Bears” Is A Two-Minute Instrumental Song The Third Purely Instrumental Piece On Radiohead’s Catalogue After “Treefingers” And “Meeting In The Aisle” And The Only One Focused On Guitars. The Slide Guitar Is Reminiscent Of Ry Cooder’s Work And Of Neil Young’s "Dead Man" Soundtrack. Instead Of As A Band Would Usually Do Using A Short Instrumental Piece As A Segue Into A Related Piece Of Music “Hunting Bears” Links Two Songs Completely Dissimilar With It And Between Each Other “Dollars And Cents” And “Like Spinning Plates”. Considering That “Hunting Bears” Was Written During The "Kid A" Sessions The Track May Be Related To The “Modified Bear” Logo Used When Advertising That Album. Perhaps Also A Shout Out To Björk With Whom Thom Has Worked.

“Hunting Bears” is a two-minute instrumental song, the third purely instrumental piece on Radiohead’s catalogue (after “Treefingers” and “Meeting in the Aisle”), and the only one focused on guitars.
