Introverted Dancefloor is the solo project of Wellington, New Zealand-based multi-instrumentalist Bevan Smith. Drawing from a diverse array of genres including Detroit techno, leftfield disco, IDM, and house, Smith crafts a stripped down yet grooving bass-driven brand of electronic music. His eponymous debut album – recorded with only two synthesizers, one microphone, and one effects processor – was released in 2015 via Carpark Records.
Smith has previously released music under the monikers Aspen and Signer. He is also member of The Ruby Suns.
