Pablo Arnoldo Canela Guédez Was Born On November 25 1914 In A Place Known As Los Dos Caminos Located In El Tocuyo Lara State. His First Musical Lessons Were Received From His Father Fidel Canela Who Liven Up The Festivities And Religious Celebrations Of The Neighboring Villages Los Palmares Boro Among Others . In His Childhood Although For A Short Time He Had The Honor Of Being One Of The Distinguished Students Of Maestro José Ángel Rodríguez López One Of The Most Important Representatives Of Tocuyan Music.   The Humble Life Of The Canela Family Did Not Allow Him To Cross The Barrier Of Primary Education Or Academic Studies Of Music. Until The Mid-1950s When He Went To Live In Barquisimeto He Dedicated Himself To His Barbershop.    In His Hometown He Married Carmen Luisa Mendoza With Whom He Had 13 Children Who Inherited Their Talent And Love For Music. Those Who Knew Him In El Tocuyo Say That They Traveled Weekly To Barquisimeto To Appear In The Radical Shows Of The Time. In Barquisimeto He Founds His Famous Musical Establishment Where Besides Making Instruments He Dictated Music Lessons Also A School Of Four In The Club Comercio And In The Casa De Arte Infantil ¨Julio T. Arce¨ Getting To Have More Than 300 Students. Pablo Canela Left More Than 40 Compositions Among The Best Known Are "Mi Tocuyo" "Viva El Tocuyo" "Gavilan Tocuyano" "Myrna" ¨Celosa¨ "Hilda" "El Burro De La Manea" Between Others. Both In The Recordings And In His Public Performances He Always Accompanied The Group Of The "Báez Brothers".
