Lisa Shaw's Music Career Expanded When She Arrived In New York City From Toronto. Shaw Received A Friendly Welcome To New York City By People In The Underground Electronica/house Music Communities. She Debuted In 1995 With A Single Titled "Makin' Love Makin' Music" Written By DJ Smash. After It Became A Hit In The Underground She Released Many More Singles And Collaborated With Several Productions A Few Collaborations With Shaw's Husband DJ Swingsett And Most Notable Producer/songwriter Miguel Migs. Many Of These Such Singles Have Appeared On Many Compilations. Shaw Released Her Debut Solo Album Cherry In 2005 On The Astralwerks Label. Shaw Appears As A Featured Singer On Miguel Migs's 2007 Album Those Things. Kaba Modern Used A Remix Of Her Single "Grown Apart" On The First Season Of America's Best Dance Crew In 2008. Her Second Album Entitled "Free" Will Be Released On March 10th 2009.
