Glyn Devey Was Born In Bloxwich West Midlands And Grew Up In Walsall West Midlands. His Musical Beginnings Where Humble First Being Shown How To Play Guitar By His Father At Age 5. As A Teenager Glyn Was Interested In Understanding Music Production And Spend Much Of His Time Listening To Records By His Favourite Artists And Attempting To Reproduce Them Using A Make-Shift Recording Studio By Dubbing Between Two Cassette Tape Recordings . During This Time He Taught Himself To Read Music And Play Other Instruments Including Bass Guitar Keyboards Drums And Percussion. Glyn Would Spend His Time Asking Local Musicians Tips And Tricks And Trying To Learn How The Mechanics Of Music Worked. This Lead To Him Playing For Many Bands And More Experienced Musicians. He Also Began To Teach Music Privately And Also In Schools Colleges And Universities. Although Glyn Had Been Producing Music For TV Adverts Radio Playing In Covers Bands And Playing/producing For Other Artists It Wasn't Until 2007 That He Embarked On Creating His Solo Album "Glyn Devey ...Sounds Like This" Which Would Be Released In 2009. This Debut Album Demonstrates From The Outset Glyn's Love Of Elaborate Productions And His Ability To Play Multiple Instruments Across A Wide Range Of Musical Genres.
