Neste Mesmo Período Também A Banda Começara A Ser Notada E Apoiada Por Revistas De Música E Dj's Como Huw Stephens Da BBC Radio Que Deu À Banda Platafroma Nacional. O Album Homônimo Foi Lançado Em Abri De 2009 E Recebeu Críticas Muito Positivas Do Kerrang! RockSound Drowned In Sound E Metal Hammer Dentre Outros. O Restante Do Ano De 2009 Foi Tempo De Mais Turnê Pelo Reino Unido Pelo Qual A Banda Foi Acompanhada Constantemente Por Críticas Com Elogios Efusivos. O Ano De 2010 Ainda Veria Um Novo EP Do Grupo Entitulado "Letters". Neste Ano A Banda Embarcou Na Sua Maior Turnê Pelo Reino Unido Até Então Realizado Com O Suporte De LaFaro E Wounds E Também Tocaram Em Uma Turnê Paralela Com Oceansize De Manchester. A Banda Anunciou Que Eles Iriam Dar Apoio Ao Supergrupo Them Crooked Vultures Numa Turnê Pela Europa Em Maio/Junho De 2010. And So I Watch You From Afar Are A Four-Piece Instrumental Post-Rock Band From Belfast Northern Ireland. The Band Consists Of Rory Friers And Tony Wright On Guitars With Johnny Adger On Bass And Chris Wee On Drums. The Band Is Highly Tipped By Various Music Publications Such As Kerrang! And NME. They Have Become Well Known For Their Energetic And Powerful Live Performances. History The Band Was Formed In Late 2005 And Released Their Debut Mini-Album 'This Is Our Machine And Nothing Can Stop It' In Early 2007. This Was Followed By A Collaboration EP Entitled 'Tonight The City Burns' Released In October 2007 That Featured Vocals From The Likes Of Cahir O'Doherty Of Fighting With Wire And Jetplane Landing. By The Time They Came To Recording Their Debut Full Length Album The Band Had Toured The UK Under Their Own Steam As Well As In Support Of Bands Like High On Fire Crippled Black Phoenix 65daysofstatic And Yourcodenameis Milo. They Had Also By This Time Been Noticed And Backed By Music Magazines And DJs Such As BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens Who Gave The Band National Airplay. Their Self-Titled Debut Was Released In April 2009 And Received Highly Positive Reviews From Kerrang! RockSound Drowned In Sound And Metal Hammer Amongst Others. The Rest Of 2009 Saw Further UK Touring For Which The Band Won Constant Rave Reviews And 2010 Will See A New EP From The Band Entitled 'Letters'. They Also Embarked On Their Biggest UK Headline Tour To Date With Support From LaFaro And Wounds As Well As Playing A Support Tour With Mancunian Art Rockers Oceansize. The Band Announced That They Would Be Supporting Supergroup Them Crooked Vultures In A May/June European Tour In 2010.
