Adrian Grew Up In North London Listening To His Family's Records An Eclectic Mix Of Music From Reggae To Rock Country To Soul. While These Have Shaped His Style As A Singer And Songwriter Somehow He Has Achieved A Voice That Is Uniquely His Own. His Personal Musical Journey Started Out As A Solitary Venture But Fellow Musicians Have Been Recruited Along The Way. Whilst Recording His First Album "Welcome To One Man Town " He Began Playing Regularly With Songwriter Beth Dariti As A Duo For Several Years In Venues Such As Camden's Green Note And The Troubadour In Earls Court. In February Of 2008 They Were Joined By Drummer Dan Paton And Cellist/bassist Simon Lewis To Create A Four-Piece Adrian Roye And The Exiles. Currently Performing At Venues Across London They Have Just Finished Recording Their First Eagerly Awaited EP Telephones & Trafficlights Which Will Be Released In Spring 2009. read less
