Frogtoon Muziek - Nummerinformatie: Tennis Court

"Tennis Court" Is A Coming Of Age Anthem Exploring The Idea Of A Young Person Leaving Home And Coming Into Adulthood. Lorde Reflects On The "smart" Yet "boring" Way People Talk About The World And Encourages The Listener To Focus On Thrilling Positive Pursuits And Seek Out Adventures. She Encourages Them To Be Carefree And Join Her In Her New Art Form — Showing People "how Little We Care". The Tennis Court Is A Symbol Of This Newfound Freedom And Escapism With The Lyrics Encouraging People To Come Together And Talk Up Their Dreams And Passions. The Song Demonstrates The Importance Of Being Unashamed And Living In The Moment Even If It Is Only Ever Going To Be Temporary.
