Hijos De Mayo Was A 4-Piece Band From Eindhoven The Netherlands. They Started In 2006 And Disbanded In 2012. Their Style Can Be Described As Stonernoisepostrock / Poststonernoiserock. Heavy Riffs Screeching Noise And Psychedelic Atmospheres. May 1 2011 They Released Their First Full Album In Sound Underground As Free Download At Bandcamp. After They Disbanded They Released 'zwanenzang Rehearsal Jams And Outtakes' In Early 2013. Also Available As A Free Download On Bandcamp . Hijos De Mayo Started Out As An Instrumental Band In 2006. In The Beginning Of 2007 They Recorded And Self-Released Their First Instrumental Mini-Album. In 2008 Part 1 Of The 4-Track Tape Adventures Was Released The First Recording To Feature Boukje Voice And Noise . Near The End Of 2008 Joost Decided To Stop. He Left And Ivo Came To Replace Him. Before Hijos De Mayo Chris Guitar And Ronald Bass Played In Gifkip. Boukje Sang In Moral Anxiety And GodsChosenDealer Ivo Hit The Drums In Red King Rising And The Ghouls. Chris Has A Solo Sideproject In 2009 He Released His First Album TravelSunnySamsara. read less
