Amy Lynn Lee Born December 13 1981 Is An American Singer-Songwriter And Musician. She Plays A Key Role In The Rock Band Evanescence As The Co-Founder Lead Vocalist Lead Songwriter And Keyboardist. In Addition To Her Work With The Band Lee Has Been Involved In Various Musical Projects. She Has Contributed To Albums Like Nightmare Revisited And Muppets The Green Album. Lee Has Also Composed Soundtracks For Films Like War Story 2014 And Indigo Grey The Passage 2015 Alongside Cellist Dave Eggar. Furthermore She Created The Song "Speak To Me" Specifically For The Film Voice From The Stone 2017 . Lee Has Collaborated With Several Artists Including Korn Seether Bring Me The Horizon And Lindsey Stirling. Being Trained In Classical Piano She Possesses A Mezzo-Soprano Vocal Range. In 2008 Lee Was Honored With The Songwriter Icon Award By The National Music Publishers Association.
