"Katsushi" Was Born And Raised In Shodoshima A Paradise Of Olives Surrounded By The Sparkling Blue Ocean And Lush Greenery In The Seto Inland Sea. Katsushi Loved To Sing As A Little Boy And Gradually He Was Dreaming To Become A Singer.
When Katsushi Was In Junior High School He Came Across The Songs By "Chage & Aska" A Major Japanese Duo Singer And Was Influenced As A Vocalist. During His College Days Influenced By Yuzu A Major Japanese Singer He Bought A Guitar And Started To Write Lyrics And Compose Songs And Began To Aim For A Professional Singer. His Voice Full Of Pleasant Cooling Sensation Is "Healing And Peaceful". Katsushi Is An Up-And Coming Artist Who Loves His Home Island Shodoshima Cherishes The Ocean The Sky Greenery And Nature And Relationship With People.
He Continues To Sing Lilting Songs With Melodious Words Filled With His Feelings For His Hometown And Has Been Supported By A Wide Range Of Fans Regardless Of Their Age Or Gender. Year 2007 Being His Fourth Year As A Solo-Musician He Organized An Island Tour "Katsushi Island Tour 2007". He Toured Throughout Japan Including Okinawa And His Hometown Shodoshima And Beyond National Borders In Taiwan And At Beaches Ocean-View Live Houses And Cafes In Hawaii. In Each Place He Values Its Nature And The Relationship With People. He Is Trying To Create Live Shows At Which One Can Feel The Touch Of Nature And By Breaking The Language Barrier And Overcoming The Cultural Differences He Wishes People To Feel The Breathe Of His Home Island Shodoshima Through "Katsushi's Songs". Furthermore Katsushi Contributes To "Hello Alson!" A Philippine Medical Volunteer Activity As A Musician. He Encourages His Fans To Bring Toothbrushes To His Shows And Puts A Lot Of Work On Collecting As Many Toothbrushes As Possible For Children In Philiphine.
