Jasia Abrams, better known as BABYXSOSA, was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, before later moving to Richmond, Virginia. Sosa began writing music in elementary school and in high school, she started DJing and learning how to make beats. She intended to study graphic design at Virginia Commonwealth University, however, she was ultimately not accepted. Upon pursuing a music career, Sosa gained underground popularity through her releases with the New York-based collective Surf Gang. Read more on Last.fm.
