My Hero Is Me Was A Post-Hardcore/metalcore Band With Southern Rock Influences From Pfafftown/Winston-Salem North Carolina United States. Formed In 2004 In North Carolina My Hero Is Me Immediately Took The Local Scene By Storm And Signed With Tragic Hero Records In 2006 With Whom They Recorded Their Second Album. Since Forming The Band Has Gone Through A Series Of Member Changes To Evolve Their Distinct Blend Of Metal Rock And Hardcore. A Highly Energetic Six-Piece Driven By Three Guitarists And One Hell Of A Frontman The Band's Live Shows Will Leave You Breathless. Adding To The Mix A Bone-Crunching Rhythm Section My Hero Is Me Combines Ruthless Aggression With Dynamic Melodies Effortlessly Walking The Line Between Beauty And Destruction.
