Klaus Egge Granskera 19-7-1906 Oslo 1979 Was A Norwegian Composer. Until 1945 The Influence Of Folk Music Was Central In His Compositions. This Period Includes His Piano Sonata No.1 Op.4 "Draumkvædet" And The Halling Fantasy Op.12 No.1 . After World War II The Folk Music Influence Became Less Apparent. This Second Period In His Career Is Characterized By The Development Of A Metamorphic Technique Where The Motif Undergoes Repeated Transformations. In The 1960s He Started Writing Twelve-Tone Compositions First Heard In His 4th Symphony "Sinfonia Sopra BACH-EGGE" Op.30.
