Fresh off his 2020 XXL Freshman nomination, Jack Harlow pays homage to friend and NBA player Tyler Herro—with whom he is pictured on the single’s cover—on the eponymous single “Tyler Herro.” The song marks Harlow’s first solo release since his chart-topping remix of his breakout hit “WHATS POPPIN” and is the first single of his debut album "Thats What They All Say".
“Tyler Herro” surfaced online ten days prior to its official release on October 22, 2020, alongside a music video starring friends Harlow and Herro.
On November 22, 2021, “Tyler Herro” was certified platinum by the RIAA.
