Caroline Goulding Born In 1993 Is A US Classical Violinist. Prior To Her Fourth Birthday Caroline Began Studying The Violin With Julia Kurtyka. Since Then She Has Been Taught By Paul Kantor And Joel Smirnoff At The Cleveland Institute Of Music. In The Fall Of 2011 Caroline Will Begin Studying With Donald Weilerstein In Boston Ma. At The New England Conservatory. At Age 13 Caroline Won The Aspen Music Festival's Concerto Competition. In 2009 She Won The Young Artists International Auditions. On March 14th 2011 She Was Awarded The Avery Fisher Career Grant. Before Age 19 Goulding Performed As A Soloist With The Cleveland Orchestra The Toronto Dallas Houston Detroit And Charlotte Symphony Orchestras The Buffalo Philharmonic Sarasota Orchestra Columbus ProMusica The Orchestra Of St. Luke's And With The Cleveland And Cincinnati Pops. In Addition Caroline Has Played At Lincoln Center And Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall In New York City Merkin Hall Le Poisson Rouge Washington DC's Kennedy Center And Others. In 2009 At Age 16 She Received A Grammy Nomination For Her Debut Recording Caroline Goulding On The Telarc Label. Caroline Is A Past Recipient Of The Stradivari Society. She Currently Plays The General Kyd Stradivarius C 1720 Courtesy Of Jonathan Moulds.
