Jordan Zane Hinton Born In Hattiesburg MS. Jumped From Band To Band Through His Early Teens Before Starting His Own Solo Project Titled "The Revival" At Age 16. The Name Came From A Near Death Experience He Had Not Long Before. He Said It "Shocked Me Back Into Reality And Made Me Think Woa. I Got A Second Chance At Things. Im Lucky Enough To Notice That.". Jordan Now 18 Hasnt Dropped The Project But Just Doubling The Title For His Own Name. He Started Playing Guitar At 13 And Within A Couple Of Months Joined His First Band. When Asked How He Learned To Play He Replied "I Kept Asking My Dad 'who Is Probably My Biggest Influence In My Music' If He Would Teach Me How To Play. He Only Replied 'when Your Hands Are Bigger When Your Hands Are Bigger'. So I Gave Up. Well My Brother Had To Leave For A While On A Trip And Left His Guitar In His Room. I Got Bored And Thought Maybe I Could Learn A Chord Or Something. I Got Onto His Computer And Looked For Tabs Because He Talked About Them Sometimes. I Wound Up Finding The Tabs For Death Cab For Cuties 'Soul Meets Body'. Well After 30 Minutes Of Working At It I Finally Got The Hang Of It And After That The Rest Is History." His Influences Are Modest Mouse Manchester Orchestra The Beatles The White Stripes Nirvana Band Of Horses Kevin Devine Bon Iver And Buddy Holly. read less
