Francis’ Drake Play Catchy Rock Blended With Different Genres Such As Pop And
metal Where The Dominant Feature Is The Female Vocalist. That Is What Makes
the Sound Of This Band Unmistakable And That Is Why Their Melodies Are Stuck In
one's Head For A Long Time.
In 2009 The Band Started Off As A Pop-Rock Band With Strong Influences Of Metal
and Caught Early Attention Playing Small Local Concerts. Their Fanbase Slowly
grew Larger. They Recorded Their First Demo CD Called “Everything Starts”.
So Far 2010 Has Been The Most Successful Year For Francis’ Drake. During That
year They Played More Than 30 Concerts All Over The Czech Republic And
recorded Their Second Demo CD Called “Gettin’ Away”. They Also Achieved
great Results In A Band Contest And Shared The Stage With Stars Like Papa
Roach US Leningrad Cowboys FIN Or Dog Eat Dog US At Sazava Fest.
At The End Of 2010 The Singer Martin And The Bass Player George Left The Band
who Started To Look For Another Singer And Bass Player. Towards The End Of 2011 They Found A Female Singer Romana And A Bass
player Tom Who Has Been Just Their Manager Until Then. 2012 Was In Sign Of
composing New Stuff And Starting To Play Local Concerts Again.
The Band Is Highly Motivated To Keep Getting Better And Developing As
musicians.
