Steffen Schleiermacher Born May 3 1960 Is A German Composer Pianist And Conductor. After Studying At The Leipizig Music School With Siegfried Thiele He Continued Working At This Institute As A Music Theory And Ear Training Assistant. At The Same Time He Did His Post Graduate Studies At The Köln Music School With Aloys Kontarsky. In 1988 Together With His Peers - Some Of Them Belonged To The Leipzig Stringquartet - Founded The Ensemble Avantgarde Which Is Committed To Fostering Contemporary Classical Music Until Today.
