Raymond Lew The Brainchild Of SLAG Played A Few Gigs In His Off/on Solo Carrer 2000/2004 And Actually Had A Small But Devoted Fanbase But Eventually Merged With Celloist/vocalist Kestrin Pantera And Violinist Andrea Baker And Thus Created The Backbone Of Shaped Like A Gun. Their Dissonant Cathartic Sound Hinted Themes Of Fame Old Age Imperialism And Suicide. In March 2005 Bassist Javier Valdez And Drummer Caitlin Moss Joined The Band Adding A More Rock-Oriented Sound But Still Boasting The Anomalous Songwriting Genius Of Raymond Lew. In September SLAG Released Their EP Which May Have Been More Refined But Didn't Dilute The Dissentire Of The Songs. In March 2006 Major Line-Up Changes Took Place And Since Then Gig Play Has Discontinued And Work With The Band Has Been On And Off. Despite The Pause Ray Has Delved Into A State Of Thought Preparing Of The Future And Hopefully Coming Back Somehow.
