He Is Most Remembered Today For His Complete Recording Of Bach's Well Tempered Klavier And Many Transcriptions. He Was Awarded The State Stalin Prize In Arts In 1946. Feinberg Also Composed A Dozen Piano Sonatas As Well As Fantasias And Other Works For His Instrument Which Have Undeservedly Been For The Most Part Neglected In The Standard Repertoire.
