The Band Don't Shelest Was Formed In Berlin 1997. Since Than They Play With The Same Members And Instrumentation. 1998 They Played The First Concerts In Tiny Underground Locations In Berlin. Than The Trio Concentrated On The Definition Of "criminal Music". Don't Shelest Realized This Vision With The Multimedial Artist Group "Karton" From 1999 To 2001. Among Others They Worked With The Artist Kamil Sobolewski Painter Action Painting VJ Etc. And The Saxophonist Joanna Charchan Trio1 From Gdansk . The Project Culminated In The Festival Of Criminal Music Placed At The Club Acud Berlin. Than The Musicians Met Wiktor Winogradski. He Is A Poet And Professor For Philosophy And History Of Art At Freie Universität Berlin. 2001 A Collective Programm Arised Which Named From Now On Don't Shelest Feat. Wiktor Winogradski. The Polish Misfit Publishing Company Released The Collective Work In Form Of The CD "Autism". Important Gigs Were At The Festival "Für Gaderobe Keine Haftung" Placed At "Theater Am Ufer" Berlin And In Course Of The German-Polish Year At "Teatre 77" In Lodz. In 2004 Don't Shelest Composed The Music Of The Movie "Ostseeerweiterung" Which Was Produced By The Club Of The Polish Misfits. Afterwards The Musicians Worked On An Absolut Instrumental Programm. 2005 They Presented The Results In Europe And Toured In Poland Ukraina Netherland And Germany. The Maxima Of This Year Were The Praticipation At "Terra Polska" In Kulturbrauerei - A Festival Which Presents Actual Polish Music In Berlin - And The Participation At The Exquisite Polish Jazz Festival "Jazz Jantar" In Gdansk. Also The Band Was Presented In Tv-Musicaudition "Tracks" On January The 27th In 2005 On The Tv-Channel "arte". In March 2006 Don't Shelest Took Part At The Event "Melancholie In Der Kunst" In Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin Which Was Arranged During The Touring Exhibition "Melancholie". Again The Trio Toured Several Times Through Poland And Germany. The Event "On Air" In Course Of The Festival "Dialogue Of Four Cultures" Placed At Club Jazzga In Lodz Is Mentionable. Also They Performed Anew With Wiktor Winogradski At Premiere Of The Play "Prothese" Placed At St. Gallen Grabenhalle Switzerland. At June Second 2007 Don't Shelest Played The Legendary Last Concert Of The Club Of The Polish Misfits In Berlin. Besides The Band Performed At Festival "Art Depot On June 6th In Warsaw Which Was Organized By Amazing Polish Musician Jerzy Mazzoll. 2008 And 2009 Don't Shelest Played Only Few Concerts In Germany And Poland Because The Musicians Were Involved In Other Projects At This Time.
2009 They Also Met DJ Top Cut And Startet The Project "Don't Shelest Feat. DJ Top Cut".
