“Like Me” Is The Second Song From Steve Lacy’s Debut Album Apollo XXI And This Marks The First Collaboration Between DAISY And Steve. The Song Tells Of Steve’s Worries About Coming Out As Bisexual And His Concern For What Others Went Through When Also Coming Out. It Is Also The Longest Track On The Album. In The First Part Of The Song Lacy Somewhat Abstractly Reflects That There Must Be Others Also In His Position I.E. Bisexual And He Does So In A Manner That Doesn’t Appear Very Emotionally Invested. In The Second Part He Takes A More Emotive Tone. Narratively This Could Be Due To The Lack Of Acceptance The Protagonist Receives From Others For Their Situation. In The Third Part The Tone Becomes Detached And Unemotional Again And Expresses A Desire To “fade Away” – Perhaps Also Due To The Lack Of Acceptance They Received From Others.

“Like Me” is the second song from Steve Lacy’s debut album Apollo XXI and this marks the first collaboration between DAISY and Steve. The song tells of Steve’s worries about coming out as bisexual and his concern for what others went through when also coming out. It is also the longest track on the album.
