Bill Whelan Born 22nd May 1950 In Limerick Irland Is An Irish Composer. When He Was 4 Years Old Bill Already Began Junior Studies At Presentation Convent School In Limerick. In 1968 Bill Moved To Dublin Where He Began Studies For A Legal Degree At University College. He Already Had One Of His Instrumental Pieces Chosen As The Theme Music For A Richard Harris Film "Bloomfield" Starring Harris And Romy Schneider. In The 70s He Began A Working Relationship With Kate Bush. Later He Also Toured Irland With Andrew Lloyd Webber's Musical Shows "Jesus Christ Superstar" And "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".
Bill Whelan's Most Pobular Magnum Opus Might Be The Music Arrangment For The Riverdance-Show! Today He Especially Compose Traditional Irish Folksongs.
