Jozza (Djooza) player Mohammad Gomar is the leader of the Farida, Iraqi Maqam Ensemble. This group is fronted by singer Farida. While living in the west Mr. Gomar got influenced by his new surroundings. The album Jozza & Jazz mixed Iraqi classical music with jazz. The jozza is a fiddle like instrument from Iraq.
