TLC Is An American Girl Group Formed In 1990 In Atlanta Georgia. The Group's Best-Known Line-Up Was Composed Of Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes And Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. The Group Enjoyed Success During The 1990s With Nine Top-Ten Hits On The Billboard Hot 100 Including Four Number-One Singles "Creep" "Waterfalls" "No Scrubs" And "Unpretty". The Group Also Recorded Four Multi-Platinum Albums Including CrazySexyCool 1994 Which Received A Diamond Certification From The Recording Industry Association Of America RIAA . TLC Became The First R&B Group In History To Receive The Million Certification From The Recording Industry Association Of Japan RIAJ For FanMail 1999 . Having Sold Over 65 Million Records Worldwide TLC Is The Best-Selling American Girl Group Of All Time. FanMail Is The Third Studio Album To Released By TLC. The Album Was Highly Anticipated By Fans. It Was Scheduled For November 10 1998 But Got Pushed Back 3 Months Because They Wanted It To Be Fully Ready. It Was Their Follow Up To The Massively Successful Album CrazySexyCool Which Was Released In 1994. It Debuted At #1 On The Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart With 318 000 Copies Sold And Remained At #1 For 5 Weeks. The Album Has Since Sold 6 Million Copies Domestically And 11 Million Worldwide. It Went Platinum In Japan Before Going Platinum In The U.S. Fanmail Also Went Platinum In The U.K. And Sold Over A Million Copies Across Europe. The Album Was Very Successful At The Grammies Receiving Eight Nominations. "No Scrubs" Won Best R&B Vocal Performance By A Duo Or Group And Best R&B Song And Fanmail Won Best R&B Album.
