Sugababes Are An English All-Female Pop Trio Based In London UK Consisting Of Founding Members Mutya Buena Keisha Buchanan & Siobhán Donaghy. The Group's Initial Run Lasted From 1998 To 2012 With All 3 Original Members Being Replaced Over That Time. The Original Members Of The Group Reformed In 2019 After A Brief Stint As Mutya Keisha Siobhan. The Group Was Formed In 1998 With Original Members Mutya Buena Keisha Buchanan & Siobhán Donaghy Who Were Introduced To Each Other By Manager Ron Tom. After Some Initial Success Donaghy Departed And The Introduction Of Heidi Range Formerly Of Atomic Kitten In 2001 Was Met With The Commercial Breakthrough Of The Group's First Number-One Single "Freak Like Me" And Parent Album Angels With Dirty Faces In 2002. The Group Survived A Second Line-Up Change In 2005 When Mutya Buena Left And Was Replaced By Amelle Berrabah. In September 2009 It Was Announced That After Eleven Years In The Sugababes Keisha Buchanan Was No Longer A Part Of The Group And Had Been Replaced By Jade Ewen. Sugababes Have Released Twenty Five Singles Six Of Which Have Reached Number-One In The UK And Twenty Have Reached The Top 20 In The UK Seven Studio Albums That Have Reached Top 40 Charts Worldwide With Success Around Europe And Asia Having Number-One Singles In Fifteen Countries. With Seventeen Of Their Twenty Five Single Releases Achieving Top Ten Chart Success In The UK Brit Award Winners The Trio Have Been Named The UK's Most Successful Female Act Of The 21st Century. Upon The Release Of "About You Now" 2007 The Sugababes Became The Only Female Act To Have Topped The Single Album And Download Charts Simultaneously Twice Having Previously Achieved The Same Feat In 2005 With "Push The Button". They Have Attained At Least Platinum Certification For Five Of Their Albums In The UK. Their Most Recent Release 'Sweet 7' Saw Them Scoring Yet Another 3 Top 10 Hits In The UK Charts With Also Being Sugababes' First Studio Album To Be Recorded With New Member Jade Ewen. In September 2013 Ewen Stated That The Sugababes Officially Split In 2011. Ewen Claimed That The Band "fizzled Out" Two Years Ago And Are "pretty Much Done" Saying "I Don't Feel Comfortable Lying" But Berrabah Claimed Afterwards That They Will All Be "getting Back Together At The End Of Next Year". Meanwhile The Three Original Band Members Got Back Together And Went On To Form Mutya Keisha Siobhan Releasing One Single 'Flatline' In 2013. A Full Album Was Recorded But Never Released With The Majority Of Tracks Recorded Leaking From Christmas 2016. In July 2019 The Original Line-Up Of The Band Confirmed They Were Back In The Studio Making Music - With A Cover Of Sweet Female Attitude's 'Flowers' Set To Appear On The Compilation Album 'DJ Spoony Presents Garage Classical'. In September 2019 The Pre-Order For The Compilation Album Confirmed The Original Trio Had Regained The Name Sugababes.

Three Is The Third Studio Album By British Girl Group Dance Group Sugababes Released By Island Records On 27 October 2003 In The United Kingdom Entering The Charting At #3. It Generated Four Singles That Charted In Various Parts Of The World The First "Hole In The Head" Became The Group's Third UK #1 Single. After Releasing "Shape" The Fourth And Final Single From Their Successful Previous Album Angels With Dirty Faces The Group Announced That They Had Gone Back Into The Studio To Start Work On The Next Album With Producers Whom They Worked With On The Previous Album Such As Jony Rockstar And Xenomania. They Went Over To America To Work With Bigger Producers Such As Linda Perry And Diane Warren Who Wrote The Ballad "Too Lost In You". They Had Also Aimed To Release The New Album In America. The Girls Co-Wrote And Recorded Their Own Tracks On The New Album—Keisha's Being "Whatever Makes You Happy" Heidi's Being "Sometimes" And Mutya's Being "Maya" A Song About Her Sister Who Died Unexpectedly. The Sugababes Later Announced The Lead Single "Hole In The Head" And Its Release Date Of 13 October. The UK Release Was A Special Edition With Two Extra Tracks "Twisted" And "Buster". Initially The Digital Download Version Offered By Woolworths In The UK Accidentally Contained An Earlier Demo Version Of "Whatever Makes You Happy" But The Mistake Was Quickly Rectified. The Album Received Positive Reviews From Critics Who Praised The Experimental New Urban And Hip Hop Sounds On The Album. Alan Braidwood From The BBC Gave Three A Positive Review Stating The Album Takes Lead From Angels With Dirty Faces And Calling It A Fresh And Exciting Album. He Also Praised The New Sound On The Album. Ross Hoffman From AllMusic Described The Album As "tuneful R&B-Inflected Dance-Pop With Fresh-Sounding But Accessible Productions Along With A Healthy Smattering Of Big Droopy Ballads With An Expanded Stylistic Range". Three Debuted At Number Three On The UK Albums Chart With 52 905 Copies Sold In Its First Week. The First Single "Hole In The Head" Was The Group's Third Number-One Single In The United Kingdom And Also Went To Number One In Denmark. It Reached Number Two In Ireland And Norway And The Top Forty In Australia. The Second Single "Too Lost In You" Reached The Top 10 In The UK And Norway And The Top 40 In Australia. The Third Single "In The Middle" Went Top 10 In The UK Top 20 In Ireland And Top 40 In Europe And Australia. A Fourth Single "Caught In A Moment" Also Reached The Top 10 In The UK. In 2004 "Hole In The Head" Was Serviced To Radio In The United States And Became A Top 40 Hit On Pop Radio. Following The Moderate Success Of The Single Three Was Due For Release In The US With An Altered Track Listing Featuring Singles From The Group's Previous Album Angels With Dirty Faces. The Release Was Subsequently Cancelled When A Second Single "Too Lost In You" Failed To Make Any Impact. In The UK The Album Is Certified Two Times Platinum By The BPI. The Album Also Received A Platinum Europe Award By The IFPI In Recognition Of European Sales In Excess Of 1 Million Copies.
