Romeo's Daughter Is A British Rock Band. Their Current Line-Up Features Leigh Matty Lead Vocals Craig Joiner Guitar And Vocals Andy Wells Drums And Steve Drennan Bass . The Band Formed In 1985 As A Trio With Leigh Matty Craig Joiner And Tony Mitman. They Recorded Their Debut Album "Romeo's Daughter" With Producers Mutt Lange And John Parr In 1988. It Featured The Singles "Don't Break My Heart" "I Cry Myself To Sleep At Night" And "Heaven In The Back Seat" Which Featured In The Fifth Instalment Of The A Nightmare On Elm Street Film Franchise. Romeo's Daughter Were Directly Involved In The Production Of Their Second Album "Delectable" Which Followed In 1993. The Album Was Co-Produced By Andy Reilly And It Features The Lead Single "Attracted To The Animal". Despite Positive Reception From Music Critics The Album Was Not A Commercial Success And Romeo's Daughter Broke Up Soon After. In 2009 The Band Reformed And Began Touring Extensively Culminating In The Release Of The "Romeo's Daughter Live EP". Their Third Album "Rapture" Was Released In 2012 Featuring The Singles "Bittersweet" And "Alive". Classic Rock Magazine Listed Leigh Matty As Their 5th Best Rock Singer Of All Time In A 2012 Article. In 2015 Romeo's Daughter Released Their Fourth Album "Spin". They Described Its Lyrical Content As "slightly Darker" Than Previous Releases. The Album Was Supported By A Tour Of The UK. In 2020 They Released The "Organik" EP Featuring Acoustic Versions Of Various Tracks From Their Back Catalogue. Their Fifth Studio Album "Slipstream" Will Be Released On 31 August 2023 With Their Slipstream Tour Following Between September And November. Romeo's Daughter's Songs Have Been Covered By Various Artists Including "I Cry Myself To Sleep At Night" By Bonnie Tyler "Wild Child" By Heart "Heaven In The Back Seat" By Eddie Money And "Stay With Me Tonight" By Steps. read less
